‘You Heard Us’ is a public art project that demonstrates the power of community engagement and collaboration. Developed over an extended period of time, it involved more than 100 participants who contributed their voices, stories and energy. The project led by Lizzie Klotz and Luca Rutherford, took place at two key locations: the Quaking Houses Community Centre and the Greenhills Centre in Wheatley Hill.

A collaboration between artist Jamie Holman and young people across East Durham, exploring heritage and hope for the future of shared spaces.
IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK
The residents of Horden woke up one day to find their street filled with a series of intriguing installations turning bus shelters into a variety of rooms - from a colliery kitchen - to social club set diners and singers. Much to the surprise of morning commuters.

Everything There Ever Was brought a magical, large-scale, participatory performance to Crimdon Dene.
