Life Just Bounces - Peterlee Revival

Exhibition, Music and Performance event Saturday 10th August 3PM.

Life Just Bounces is a summer showcase set in Peterlee Central Club in the heart of Peterlee town centre, featuring live music, performances, poetry, art, photography, and literary works. Our aim is to unite the local community of Peterlee and its surrounding areas, celebrating the culture and talent that have emerged from here and from the North East more broadly. The event will showcase artwork, videography, as well as literary and musical performances. We are partnering with Peterlee Central Club as the venue for this event, along with non-profit organisations such as Empty Shop, Building Cultures, and No More Nowt. We hope to instill a sense of pride in the community for our area.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Miner's Strike of 1984 and the 75th year of Peterlee. In light of these milestones, we aim to promote the area positively and highlight the vibrancy of what is happening in the present moment. Passionate about establishing a platform for our hometown and the arts, culture, and heritage in County Durham more broadly, we strive to lovingly revitalise County Durham and invite you to join us in breathing new life into our community through this celebration of our cultural heritage and artistic talent.
