Annfield's Flower Flock

  • Annfield Plain Community Centre 23 New Front Street Stanley, England, DH9 8HY United Kingdom (map)

Did you know the first settlers in Annfield Plain were sheep farmers? To celebrate the community and heritage of the village artists Sally & Nicola have created a flock of sheep, with the help of local groups. This work forms part of a 10 month residency in Annfield Plain exploring the community and the opportunities for the groups and buildings of Annfield Plain to grow together 🌻🏡

Be inspired by Sally and Nicola's flowery flock and create your own leafy sheep using real foliage and flowers. Free to take home and keep! 🌷🐑

Look out for our shop sheep trail designed by children from Annfield Plain Infant and Junior Schools and the local Scouts.

Free cake and coffee for all those who take part. All welcome!
