  • Blackhall Community Centre Hesleden Road Hartlepool, England, TS27 4LG United Kingdom (map)

*FREE TO ATTEND

‘Play On’ is a special community event presenting live music accompanying silent Shakespeare films from the past from BFI. Expect drama, great music, love, death and the magic of silent cinema brought to life at Blackhall Community Centre on a Friday November evening 💀💔🗡️ - In partnership with Blackhall Community Centre, Durham University, BFI and No More Nowt.

BOOK YOUR FREE SPACE(S):

Blackhall Community Centre is one of the No More Nowt ‘Cultural Hubs’ who we support to devise, develop and deliver culture on-site, in the communities they support. On this event, they are working with Durham University and the BFI (British Film Institute) to bring you a night of silent Shakespeare films from the archive — all ages welcome.

They will have games to play, medieval popcorn (random flavours) and of course, live music and films (It’s 400 years since Shakespeare first Folio, so we’ve excited to present this event for our community).

To book your free ticket(s), just ring: 0191 586 7396 and register your interest.
